During the school-year Mr. Barnwell works in close cooperation with your student's Math teacher to create lesson-plans that address the standards being covered in the classroom, but with special emphasis on confronting the underlying components within those standards that are causing your student confusion.

Mr. Barnwell has the time and creative latitude to dismantle "on-grade-level" concepts and focus on closing the gaps in your student's "math-thinking" in a way that is impossible for their teachers to do during the school day.

Students discover that learning in small-groups with their peers is entertaining, builds

confidence, and introduces them to entirely new ways of "doing math".​
