Mr. Barnwell
Pleased to meet you,

After graduating with my Master’s in Divinity, I decided to move into the public sector to address the growing trend of “below-grade-level” student performance as an extension of my personal ministry. As a result, I’ve been teaching math and science as a certified public educator for the last four years, and in that time, I've developed a program for systematically rectifying faults in the "math-thinking" of struggling middle-graders; a system that I’d very much like to share with you.

Allow me the privilege of partnering with your family to help enhance your student’s confidence and competence in math. I look forward to being of service to you.
Education/
Qualifications
Bachelor's
I studied Sociology at Augusta University where I learned to analyze the patterns of people-groups and address the needs of under-serviced communities. My degree program also afforded me the scholastic latitude to curate my class schedule to include high level science/math courses, which have served me well in my various academic pursuits over the years.
Master's
I studied divinity at Emory University while serving as a prison chaplain and youth minster in Decatur. During that time the focus of my studies was on youth ministry, pastoral care/counseling, and hermeneutics (the systematic interpretation of scripture).
Certification (GA)
I've been teaching and tutoring math and science as a certified public educator in the state of Georgia for the last 4 1/2 years. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and I look forward to bending the full weight of my experience and understanding towards your child's development this year. I Can't wait to start working with you!
